Mr. Junqing (Edward) Ren is the founding attorney of J. REN LAW Professional Corporation. He has been called to the Ontario bar in 2019. (Search lawyer’s status here) Mr. Ren’s legal fields are mainly about corporate law, civil litigation, family law and immigration law.
He had a two-year experience in one litigation law firm on Bay Street in Toronto prior to being a lawyer. He had developed the written advocacy skills through the preparation of numerous memorandums and submissions as well as oral advocacy skills in tribunals and courts. Mr. Ren knows how to work with clients and assist them in achieving their goals. He has kept the clients well informed of the status of their files, thoroughly explained any issues they might have, together with suggesting good professional solutions to them.
Before coming to Canada, Mr. Ren worked as a Legal Consultant nearly seven years for the Chinese Central Government in Beijing, China. Mr. Ren has successfully developed many legal programs. In the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Mr. Ren acted for the Chinese government to establish a copyright protection program with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). In addition, Mr. Ren has provided legal advice for Chinese legislatures to amend laws and regulations including copyright law, Internet law, etc. He also has extensive experience in due diligence and cross-border corporate transactions.
